Statutory rights come first

This policy summarises the procedure used by BashLight. It does not reduce any mandatory cancellation, refund, repair, replacement, warranty or compensation right. Where the law gives a more favourable right, that right applies.

Distance-sale cancellation

For a qualifying product bought through a distance-selling process, a consumer may generally cancel from the date of the transaction until 14 days after receiving the product or the required disclosure document, whichever is later. Consumers in protected groups may be entitled to an extended period of up to four months where the statutory conditions apply.

Send a clear cancellation notice by telephone, email, the website contact form, or in person at the store. Include the customer's name, order reference, contact details and the product concerned. BashLight will confirm receipt.

Refunds and cancellation fee

After a valid cancellation, BashLight will return the amount due and cancel future charges within 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice, subject to the lawful return of the product. For a cancellation that is not caused by a defect, mismatch or failure to supply on time, the permitted cancellation fee may be charged: 5% of the transaction price or ₪100, whichever is lower.

If cancellation is due to a defect, a material mismatch with the confirmed order or failure to supply on time, no cancellation fee will be charged and BashLight will arrange collection from the place where the product was delivered, as required by law.

Returning the product

For another type of valid cancellation after delivery, the customer is responsible for returning the product to the store. It should be returned with all supplied parts and accessories and, where reasonably possible, the packaging and proof of purchase. Use of a product does not automatically remove a statutory cancellation right, but damage or reduced value caused by unreasonable handling may be addressed as the law permits.

Special orders

For a product made to the customer's measurements or special requirements, the statutory cancellation right generally applies during the first three days after the transaction and later only if production has not begun, subject to the precise legal conditions. BashLight will identify a special order before confirmation and will not treat a standard stocked finish as custom without a proper basis.

Installed, defective and warranty items

Do not disconnect or reinstall an electrical product yourself. Use a suitably qualified electrician. For a suspected defect, stop use where safety may be affected and contact BashLight. We may request photographs, the order record and a professional installation record where relevant. Manufacturer warranty terms and any voluntary exchange arrangement operate in addition to mandatory legal rights.

Store purchases and exchanges

Different rules may apply to purchases concluded entirely in the physical store. Any voluntary exchange offered by BashLight is subject to stock and the condition of the item, and does not replace a mandatory right. Contact the store using the details below before returning a chandelier so that safe handling can be arranged.
